  • 2023 Kutztown University Summer Music Festival July 1-8.  Founded by Steinway Artist Maria Asteriadou in 2010, talented students from around the world work with the festival's renowned roster of devoted musicians and pedagogues: Maria Asteriadou, piano; Kurt Nikkanen, Peter Isaacson, Domitrios Chandrakis, violin; Junah Chung, Chara Siera, violas; Wolfram Koessel, cello; Manuel Figuero, double bass; Janet Axelrod, flute; Kim Webster, oboe; Aileen Razey; clarinet; John Thomas Dodson, conducting, mindfulness coach; Frank Kumor, percussion plus a Steinway Spirio Tutorial with Jacobs Music’s Doug Rausch, Piano Masterclass with Dr. Daniel Immel and Magic of Harmony workshop with Daniel Sponenburg, Throughout the festival distinguished faculty and gifted students will perform some of the music that has most entranced and inspired us, and invited guests will present a series of intriguing and informative seminars and workshops on a variety of musical topics.
