Congratulations to Jacobs Music Senior Vice President Bob Rinaldi, who was honored in Washington DC at the Annual meeting of North and South American Steinway dealers earlier this month. Bob was selected by Steinway & Sons as the inaugural recipient of the Glen Gough Award, named the for the respected music products industry veteran who has recently retired as Steinway’s Corporate Sales Manager.
Steinway & Sons Vice President Todd Sanders presented the award to Bob Rinaldi, recognizing him for his exceptional performance on behalf of Steinway & Sons, including his work ethic, product knowledge and the ability to listen and to connect with people. He further expressed that Bob “has established himself as a resource to the musical community” and that his “ passion for Steinway is genuine and contagious, making everyone around him better.”
Bob accepted the award with surprise and humility, expressing, "I believe that there are many others who should have been recognized before me. It is truly an honor to be thought of in the same company as Glen Gough, for whom I have the greatest respect. I have long admired his knowledge and commitment to serving and supporting the musical needs of the arts and educational institutions that rely on Steinway, Boston and Essex pianos. These same values are at the core of what all of us at Jacobs Music strive to achieve."
